The on screen quality looks about as good as an 8th generation vhs tape stored in an overheated locker since '89. The audio quality is terrible and the on-screen queues as to which way to dance are small and terribly implemented. This has to be the worst product I've bought in the last decade. But eventually, I gave in and opened the box. If you are (or your older child is) a DDR fan, don't bother. You'll be disappointed by the 8-bit graphics, the 8-bit music, and the 9 songs you will hear over and over again. <br /> <br />That being said, I have 2 small children, ages 2 and 4. When I tried it with my batteries it would only turn on to a jumbled screen. It's too bad because my kids were super excited to play it. Plus the place we bought it from doesn't take returns.
